ESPN’s Way-To-Early-Top-25 Gives Insight to Tough Vols Schedule

The College Football season ended less than 24 hours ago but ESPN has already released it’s “Top 25 Poll” for next season. New Vols coach Jeremy Pruitt just won another National Title with Alabama but his 2018 schedule looks like a doozie.

Tennessee currently has five opponent’s on ESPN’s Way to Early Top 25 Poll including newly crowned Champion Alabama at the top.

Along the No. 1 Crimson Tide, who the Vols play on October 20, No. 5 Georgia, No. 10 West Virginia, No. 12 Auburn and No. 25 South Carolina fill out the Vols Top 25 opponents. To make things more difficult, Alabama is the only game inside Neyland Stadium. Pruitt and Tennessee open the season with West Virginia in Charlotte for a neutral site matchup.

Tennessee fans hope to see their Vols back in a bowl game in year one under Pruitt, and the schedule will provide a very tough test.
