The Tennessee Vols know that punter Trevor Daniel is one of the best kept secrets in the SEC.
For the last two seasons, Daniel’s right foot has been able to duplicate almost every club in the golf bag. His “driver” has seen 43 punts sail 50 yards or more, including longs of 70 and 66. He’s used the “pitching wedge” to perfection, pinning his opponent at their own 20 yard line or closer 54-percent of the time.
We’ve seen pin-point placement with the Daniel “lob-wedge” like he was on the 16th hole of the Masters on a Sunday: two minutes to go in the fourth quarter against Georgia.

Sunday night, we saw something that we’ve probably never seen from any punter, or golfer for that matter. Trevor Daniel threw down a 360-degree dunk at the school’s rec-center.

That’s taking “Punter U” to the next level.
Daniel is getting set for his third, and final, season as Tennessee’s punter.
